April Meeting of Chesapeake Sports Club a positive for young athletes

The April meeting was held at the Chesapeake Convention Center. President Lou Tayon related that the Jamboree was a rousing success and thanked everyone for their efforts. Ducky Davis included a roast in his introduction of Legends of Honor Wayne Henley. Sports Club member of the year Wayne Martin presented awards to the male and female athletes for winter sports. Steve Johnson introduced guest speaker Bryan Stith, Assistant Basketball Coach of Old Dominion University. Coach Stith gave an inspiring talk on never listening to the naysayers.
